Larry Womack is the Founding and Lead Pastor of Copperfield Church. Prior to Copperfield he served for nineteen years as a Student/ Associate Pastor. Larry is married to Pamela and they have three grown sons and two daughters in laws and one grandson.  Pam is a professor at Lone Star College in Tomball.  Jeffrey and Beth are university professors in Philadelphia. Their son is named Henry Bede. Phillip and James are twins and they attend and serve here at Copperfield. Phillip is an IT Director in Houston. James is a retired Captain in the United States Army and sales Real Estate in the Cypress area. He is married to Lety.  Lety is one of the volunteer translators for our Sunday morning worship services.

Larry graduated from Houston Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves hunting and fishing and working at the East Texas farm his father built. He is very content behind the wheel of an old Ford tractor pulling a bush hog. He loves nature and gets outside whenever he can.

When God called Larry to begin Copperfield Church in 1991 he resigned from his position at Graceview Baptist Church in Tomball and set out to start this new work.  He likes to say, “God could have used anyone to lead this church, but I am so thankful that God used me.”  He loves the Daniel 5:21 passage that says “…the most high God is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and sets over them anyone he wishes.” Larry loves pastoring Copperfield Church. He feels blessed to serve with this amazing staff and congregation.
