Cassie grew up in Minnesota and attended Gustavus Adolphus College, where she studied Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. After graduation, Cassie worked in multiple schools throughout the country before settling down in Houston with her family. Once in Houston, Cassie and her family came to Copperfield and quickly plugged into the life of the church. Cassie has played an invaluable role in the MOPS ministry at Copperfield.
Cassie is married to Russell, a deacon at Copperfield Church. They have three daughters: Emily, Aubrey, and Molly. They are a special part of our kids and preschool ministries.
As the Director of Preschool Ministries, Cassie will work with the NextGen Ministry team to develop and oversee an effective ministry for children from birth through preschool both inside and outside Copperfield Church using intentional relationships, environments, and programs. This role is indispensable for the health and growth of our ministry to the next generation.
